Well, okay. The bags are packed. The fridge has been emptied. Garbage and recycling have been put out. Mail and newspapers have been stopped. Lamps on timers? Check. Thermostat set? Check. Passport? Tickets? Boarding passes? Check, check and check.
By gum, I think we're ready! This is going to be an awesome trip, I can just feel it! Australia is one place on this planet that I've wanted to visit for as long as I can remember and it feels like Colin and I have been planning this trip forever. And yet, here we are already on the night before we leave. It's come up so fast!
I can't promise I will be as faithful and regular a blogger as some of my dear friends, but I will certainly be updating this as we go along... hopefully with some amazing pictures to share with you. I'll report in next from Sydney after we've landed and settled in. Off we go, then!!
